What are your frame measurements?Updated 8 months ago
At Jonas Paul Eyewear, we believe in providing stylish, comfortable, and perfectly fitting glasses for everyone. Understanding frame measurements is key to finding your ideal pair. Here’s a quick guide to help you:
1. Lens Width or Eye Size: The width of each lens is measured in millimeters. This measurement determines how wide the frames will appear on your face, ensuring they complement your unique style. This number can typically be found inside the left temple arm of a frame and is the first of three sets of numbers (see photo below). Our eye sizes have the following ranges:
Jonas Paul Frame Sizing | Extra Small | Small | Medium | Large | Wide |
Eye Size Range | 40mm-42mm | 43mm-46mm | 46mm-49mm | 49mm-52mm | 53mm-55mm |
2. Bridge Width: The distance between the two lenses, also in millimeters. The bridge width is crucial for a comfortable fit on your nose, allowing your glasses to sit perfectly without slipping. Our bridge widths range from 13mm-20mm depending on the size of the frame. This number can typically be found inside the left temple arm of a frame and is the second of three sets of numbers (see photo below).
3. Temple Length: Also known as arm length, this is the measurement from the hinge to the end of the temple tip. It ensures your glasses fit securely around your ears for all-day comfort. At the end of each temple arm on Jonas Paul Eyewear frames, you’ll notice that the temple arm has a rubbery, silicone covering. This is our Adjustable Comfort Tip and is how you’ll get the perfect, customized fit right at home so the glasses do not slide off your child’s face! Our temple tips lengths range from 122mm-145mm depending on the size of the frame. This number can typically be found inside the left temple arm of a frame and is the third of three sets of numbers (see photo below).
