Prism lenses are essential for correcting issues like double vision or eye alignment, and with our Deluxe lens selections, we can incorporate this specialized prescription right into your child’s glasses. Our Deluxe lenses are carefully crafted to deliver the clarity and precision your child needs while complementing their personal style with our fashionable frames.
Here are some brief instructions on how to order glasses with prism from our website:
Order your Home Try On Kit : after selecting your home try on kit with your favorite frames, you will get 7 days to try them on at home. During this time pick your favorite, or favorites, that you will be ordering with your prescription glasses.
Take photos of your child in the frame(s) you will be ordering: Due to the unique prism prescription we require an OC or Ocular Center measurement. This ensures that your child's prescription is aligned correctly with their eyes in the frame they have picked. If you already returned your home try on kit and didn’t take photos, just let us know and we can send you the frames you need to get these measurements. Here’s how to measure the OC once you receive your trial frames:
Put the frame on from your home try on kit that you would like to order with prescription lenses
Take a few photos (3-4) following these guidelines:
- Sit or stand about an arms length away
- Hold the camera at their eye level
- Have them look directly at the camera
- Take the photo straight on with no angles
- After you complete your order on the website you can email these to us
The other items we will need to complete your order are: 1) your child's complete and valid prescription. 2) your child's PD - you can get this from your eye doctor, have it professionally measured at a local optical retailer, OR measure it yourself at home using our PD tool from the home try on kit or our website. You can also use our app (available for iPhoneX or newer models). 3)The photos of your child in the frame of their choice.
Next you will visit our website and begin the ordering process.
- Select your frame size and color. Then click "Choose a Lens and Order"
- Choose your prescription type then select the "Enter Your Prescription" option
- Manually select your prescription values for the right and left eyes
- Enter your child's PD
- Select "YES" for prism values and enter your child's prism correction
- Click "Choose File" and upload your prescription and click "Save and Continue"
- Select your lens material and then select your Deluxe Lens Option
- Add additional lens features you would like (blue light or transitions)
- Click "Save and Continue" - add JPE Care Warranties or Lens Care Bundles
- Review your order details and add to cart
- Once you complete your checkout process, email the photos of your child in their Home Try On Kit frames to [email protected] with your order number.
